This weekend just gone…

Well that was a thing! Firstly, a pretty short notice gig at Qudos on Friday. We always like playing there, such a great crowd and a great atmosphere! Dancers on the floor early on, and they didn’t leave…

Then after a great gig on the Friday, Saturday was the Salisbury Music Awards at the Arts Centre. There were a number of nominations and the band fared well against the competition.  Claire came second in the Best Lead Singer category to Jamie Eldridge of The Brittz. Craig also came in as runner up to Chris Kidd from Gypsy Jukebox. And the band came runners up to The Zucchinis as Best Covers Band. Congratulations to all the winners, and more so the Salisbury Music scene! No where else have I heard that there is that many talented musicians, that they host their own music awards! Still, that didn’t stop us having a bit of a band night out. It’s always good to go out without having to pack down the kit at the end of the night. 14568218_10154718537201091_6741488763070685265_nStay tuned for the next post though, as our next gig is a fairly big one…

Last minuite gig!

This is a bit short notice, but if you are in town on Friday night, we will be at Qudos on Castle Street. Always a fantastic place to play in town! Hope to see you there…

Saturday night at The Mill

What a fantastic night! And such a great venue to play in. We had a great time with some new tunes (well, new to us 😉 you can’t call 1973 new really can you?!?). But they already look to be cemented into the set as we prep for our next gig at the Wig & Quill next Saturday! Keep rocking peeps!!! If you have any photos from the night you’d like to share with us, ping us a message on here, or you can email us on

Pictures from Saturday

How do! Well Saturday may have been a private event, but it marked a few events. Firstly, it was Ray Franklin’s last gig with us! He has had more comebacks than the Beatles though… From February 2015 to October 2016, he’s been part of 2 studio CD’s, and been a part of winning two Salisbury Music Awards for best covers band. In a year and eight months, we have achieved a lot! I’m pretty sure though he may stand in on one or two dates, and I’d put money on him having a slot at our little Hootenany at the Mill in December.

Secondly, I’m back! A massive thank you to Neil for stepping in while I’ve been away. I’m pretty sure it’s not the last time you’ll see him at a Break Cover gig though!

Saturday night was a great atmosphere. A private party in a great venue. The coach wanted to leave at quarter to midnight, but the crowd wanted to keep dancing! It waited patiently for everyone before it left though. Thanks for a great night, and we’ll see you again on the 8th October (next Saturday) at The Mill! See you there!!!
