Break Cover are now on holiday (with the exception of some private function stuff happening out of sight of the public) until 1 October.
However before we go we have to comment on the weekend just gone.
Huge thanks to Neil and Ray for stepping in for Terry and Dave who escaped before the main holiday!
Friday night saw a surprise opportunity to play a gig at one of our favourite venues; Qudos Music Bar & Grill in Salisbury. As usual, it was amazingly hot and the audience sang along, danced and fell over throughout the night so a huge thank you to the staff for all their hard work in the heat and another huge thank you to the audience for giving it everything!
Then on Saturday after a few years of various things getting in the way we finally made it to FirsFest’16 .
The effort put in by the organisers to make this free festival work is clearly huge and all the volunteers that put in their time and effort needs to be massively applauded. The whole thing ran like clockwork and the standard of the bands throughout the day was exceptional. Salisbury is a City with a tremendous musical heritage and a living, vibrant live music scene and this was hugely on display this weekend.
We would also like to say a huge thank you to the incredible people who turned up to see the bands and stayed for the whole day. You were a tremendous audience and gave us such a huge welcome for our first time.
Well done also to the firework team who put in a huge amount of effort for the grand finale
Thank you all so much that was amazing!
